This trip snorkels the reefs and seagrass beds where green sea turtles feed, and sightings are frequent. They are wild animals, so no one can honestly guarantee them, but our guides take you to the right water at the right time of day.

Can kids come? Can pregnant guests?

Kids are welcome from age 5; guests must be 5 or older to join this excursion. For safety reasons, pregnant guests are not permitted. Families with younger children can look at the Icacos Morning tour, which welcomes all ages, or the Icacos Afternoon trip for kids from age 3.

What time are we back?

You are back around 3 p.m. at Villa Marina in Fajardo, so your evening stays open. The excursion runs about six hours in total, and the mid-afternoon return leaves plenty of time for dinner plans, whether you are staying nearby or driving the hour back to San Juan.

Do you provide snorkeling gear?

Yes, all gear is provided: a mask, snorkel, fins and a flotation device are included in the price, with no rental fees. The crew fits everything at check-in at Villa Marina before the boat leaves. All you need to bring is a swimsuit, towel and reef-safe sunscreen.

Are vegetarian or vegan meals available?

Yes, vegetarian and vegan meals are available for an additional charge. Let us know when you book so the crew can have your meal ready on the boat. The standard meal is a deli lunch served at the white-sand beach stop, with soft drinks, water and rum drinks included.
